St Mary’s Church, Cumwhitton
Having had some rather miserable weather during the preceding days, we were both relived and delighted to have the very best weather for our walk.
A very poignant and emotional Remembrance Day Service took place at St Mary’s Church on Sunday, 13th November.
If you are looking for good food and good company, please come and join us for our Harvest Festival Lunch.

In preparation for Easter we carried the cross between Churches in our Benefice. On Thursday evening we met for prayers at St Mary’s Church in Cumwhitton before setting off for Hayton.

I am now of an age where I can look back and reflect on some of my earliest memories.
St Mary’s Church Sponsored Walk
On Sunday, 4th October cars set off from many parts of the Parish to meet up at Rydal in the Lake District for our annual sponsored walk.
What a successful Day! On Sunday, 5th July, Cumwhitton held its very own Garden Trail and Arts and Crafts exhibition. The weather was perfect and all the gardens looked their very best.
The Church allotment is a large plot behind St Mary’s Church, with a fresh water brook running alongside it.
