Up and Coming Naturalist – Chris Barnes

Chris Barnes along with his father and a group of friends are promoting the idea that there is a great deal to gain from contact with nature and have recently laid the foundations to an “Outdoor educational community nature school”.
The site that they have begun to transform is adjacent to Tarn Road Nurseries Garden Centre just outside Brampton. With a great deal of hard work they have already developed an educational area for plants and vegetable growing as well as a distinct area for ducks, chickens and rabbits.
Their commitment to the project as well as their enthusiasm has attracted the interest of Primary School children and their teachers as well as the local press.
Congratulations! And we look forward to news of their progress over the coming months as this exciting venture continues.
